Meet Cherish
In 2018, I attended culinary school and made my very first cookie—right there in class. I originally enrolled with a concentration in catering management, but it didn’t take long before I fell head over heels for pastry. After getting married in 2019 and relocating from Augusta, GA to Charlotte, NC, I planned to return and finish my studies—but like so many others, those plans were put on hold when the world shut down in 2020.
Before the pandemic hit, I was fortunate to land a corporate job in the mortgage industry, helping families achieve their dreams of homeownership. Still, my heart was always in hospitality. During the global shutdown, with more time at home, I began baking and cooking every single day—and that’s when the idea of a cookie business started to take root. I dove in wholeheartedly, taking classes, studying techniques, learning from chefs and cookie artists, and pouring myself into this passion. I believe the best memories are made around the table—and that food (especially cookies!) brings people together.
When I’m not in the kitchen, I’m a devoted follower of Jesus, a wife, a frequent flyer, Auntie, and Godmama. I love a good love story, strong coffee, supporting local businesses and food trucks, and hunting for hidden gems in every city I visit.
